As our Senior Frontend Developer, you will work closely with designers to translate user interfaces into code and with backend developers to turn that code into implemented digital products. In this role, you will also be responsible for building out patterns and abstractions that emphasize the efficiency of those products, making the most of frameworks such as Angular and React along with tools like SASS and Bootstrap, and ensuring the products are compatible with multiple browsers and multiple devices.

This is a full-time position based out of our Boston, MA or Portsmouth, NH offices, but we will consider remote working arrangements for the right candidate. Experience and Skills

What you’ll do:

The Senior Frontend Developer will be responsible for the following day-to-day duties:

  • Work with clients, designers and product owners to translate designed user interfaces into reusable UI components, often assembled to create web/mobile sites and applications, prototypes, interactive experience maps and/or design systems
  • Lead and mentor junior developers in coding elegant and sophisticated user interfaces
  • Support the team in identifying the latest technologies and processes best suited to build scalable, distributed and fault-tolerant digital products
  • Guide clients in building responsive, inclusive and accessible digital products that work across devices, platforms and browsers
  • Test digital products for ease of use, speed, and other quality factors to be determined

What you’ll need:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years professional experience in web/software development

Required Skills

  • Deep technical skills in web development technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML/JSON, CSS Frameworks like Bootstrap & Foundation, JavaScript Frameworks like Angular & React)
  • Strong JavaScript programming skills
  • Proficient in the creation of a responsive and accessible site
  • Strong programming and analytical skills, problem solving and debugging
  • Experience in software development concepts/methodology/life cycle, especially Agile methodology
  • Ability to work with Devops team to create a deployment workflow and CI/CD using tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, etc.
  • Proficient in setting up support environments like testing and documentation 
  • Experience integrating front end interfaces with internal and external services using API
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members as well as internal and external stakeholders

Nice To Have Skills

  • Working knowledge of server-side programming frameworks like Node JS, Java
  • Familiarity with Material Design and frameworks like Bootstrap or
  • Knowledge of Swagger and REST design
  • Knowledge of leading CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Wordpress, Drupal, etc.
  • Background in, or solid understanding of, fundamental digital design principles such as typography, layout, and color
