As our UX/UI Production Designer, you will work as part of a dedicated team serving one of Mad*Pow’s leading clients to build out screens and implement edits across a large and complex digital experience, advise on the UX of new features and flows, QA screens, and help maintain a cloud library.

This is a long-term, temporary engagement with the potential to go permanent if desired. The position will ideally be based out of our Portsmouth, NH or Boston, MA offices, but we will consider remote working arrangements for the right candidate. What You’ll Do:

The UX/UI Production Designer will work exclusively with one of Mad*Pow’s top clients with responsibilities for the following:

  • Wireframing new features and flows
  • Visual design production, ensuring complete continuity with existing elements and visual styles
  • Maintaining and modifying expansive and numerous file directories used for client deliverables to facilitate efficiency in bulk screen deliveries
  • Helping to QA/review design work and copy to ensure accuracy, perfect alignment with established styles and a consistent and optimal user experience
  • Collaborating on the maintenance of a cloud library of approved components
  • Helping to rationalize design decisions to the client via education on best practices
  • Collaborating with designers, developers, and project managers as part of a long-term and tight-knit team to consistently deliver high quality output

Experience and Skills

What You’ll Need:

  • Background
    • Bachelor's Degree in design, human factors, or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of 3-5+ years’ experience with digital design in a professional setting
  • Required Skills
    • Highly organized self-starter who can proactively manage a highly-detailed task list for visual and UX needs across multiple site versions
    • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain a holistic understanding of a large and complex digital experience
    • Awareness of experience design best practices such as, but not limited to, accessibility, performance and usability considerations
    • Strong deployment of visual design principles such as typography, color and layout
    • Expertise with Adobe XD and its cloud library
    • Experience creating and/or extending a visual system - including brand elements such as colors, typography, layout and tone - and summarizing in style guides or design systems a plus
    • Ability to to perform QA or review preferred
    • Skilled at navigating and/or pivoting when necessary for client’s changing priorities
    • Proactive, with an ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
  • Nice To Have Skills
    • Strong personal alignment to Mad*Pow’s core values
    • Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated environment
    • Proficiency in some of the tools we often use:
